Breakfast soi 4 Pratumnak at Gerry's, the new bar opened by Dave of the Sapphire Lodge down the road (which is now closed).

Gammon style bacon which I like. 2 eggs slightly overcooked but ok, rather over- than underdone. Fried potatoes, mushroom, onion, 2 sausages, beans... all just fine. 2 toast, and a big pot of good tea, plenty for a couple of mugs (no, I was eating alone )... 145 baht.

Quick service, friendly staff. They have live music there too, not sure which nights. Went once before in the evening, good atmosphere.

Off topic, shame the Lodge has closed, it was a great concept. Understandable though, 'protection' is silly money and there's no discount for a very slow low season.
