When I tracked the new place down before he said no more buffet at the new location, but he might have changed his mind since then

Yeah as posted before Anton's is gone, Pizza buffet at Loaf is gone too

Actually Anton appears have to have reopened on Soi 27, about 500 metres from their original location.

It’s a regular restaurant now, not a buffet kind of thing, apart from a barbecue on Sunday evenings.

The food is sub-average compared to Klein Heidelberg and Bier Stüble and not cheaper.

Not worth the hassle to find it.
