Looks good Alfa.  Now I am hungry.;

Those are the kalamata olives I referred to, and my favorite.

It pains me to report this...

Tried again in May 2017 2 separate times and both times, not up to par.

So many other options in Patts, but I likely will try again next trip hoping for better.

Overall, I have been disappointed every time I have been. Kept reading good reports, so kept trying it but, alas, disappointment.

Shame, because Greek is my fav food, I like El Greco, most dishes I have had there have been good-and big portions, I do find their salads a bit of a let down-not fresh and crisp. I see they have acquired the place next door, so now twice the size.

I went to  Pattayanis a few days ago and had a really good meal and Yannis was a such a jovial and friendly host,  a real gentlemen.

Yes, normally. But did you see the picture of the huge lump of non-watery tzatziki up there?

Holy shit, I'd easily pay 160 for that in Pattaya.

Was in yesterday, sad to report, disappointing.

Greek salad was OK.

Tzatziki not good, I suspect made from cheese rather than yogurt, Pita bread average and the Santorini a let down.

And all were overpriced.

Yesterday was my 5th time in over the past few years , always expecting to get a dish that hit the spot but that's it for me now.

Pratamnak soi2... What the fuck. That place is deserted. No foot traffic at all. What the fuck they are thinking. Moving from soi Buakhao to middle of nowhere. Maybe there is strong Greek community on soi2 Pratamnak. I don't think so...

Bigger place and probably cheaper rent. I agree about foot traffic it will be non existent. I personally like Pattayanis food the owner is a nice guy  (just don't leave him a bad review ever!!!) But i think the move is too far out of the way and might isolate him. In Patong beach Phuket there is a husband and wife team who run a little sports bar and have been doing very well for the last few years. The wife is an excellent Cook and her Thai food is to die for the husband is from England and he's a very good host the bar is packed every night they have customers in inside and outside at all times. A couple years ago they decided it would be a good idea to get a bigger restaurant but it was connected to an out of the way hotel and by out of the way I mean far from any foot traffic. Although the place is very nice the food is very good there seems to be nobody going there because it is out of the way. When you are not in a central location you are a bit hard to get to people on holidays want convenience.

If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Was convinced by a mate to return a few weeks ago, having told him my thoughts on the place, and low and behold, had a great feast.

Felt a bit of a tool, but this place is back on my list, hope to visit new location soon.

Pretty dumb to move to the middle of nowhere but maybe they have enough of a client base that will make the trek there.

Yes but they are not famous of eating or drinking in the restaurants/bars.
