Hotel Reservations

I am going to Thailand for the first time in May and June.

 

first question, how is the weather then. I have heard hot and I have also heard rainy. anybody know?

 

and second question, is it a good idea to make hotel reservations before the trip, or just go and find hotels once i am over there. I have heard that there are so many hotels that you can always find nice lodging for cheaper if you go with no reservations. any help? thanks!

It's not just hot, it's damn hot. Very humid as well.

 

Rain is a high possibility even more so in June and the rain usually lasts for short periods but there is always the chance of a flooding downpour.

 

Should be plenty of rooms available and yes you may be able to get a better rate as a walk-in.

 

My friend and I will be there in that timeframe as well. Look us up if you want to share a glass.

I never make reservations in Pattaya. You get the best price when you walk in.

If its your fisrt time I wolud book a hotel for the first few nights until you have had chance to look around.
