Aya Hotel

Found some pictures from my time at Aya Boutique Hotel and thought I might as well throw up a thread for anyone who might be considering the place. I stayed there last April, 2014.

Location is good. On Moo 10, which is a actually a vendor filled street between Beach Road and Second. It takes about 8 minutes to walk to WS so it's really close. Definitely a GF hotel with no joiner fee. Didn't end up bringing home two birds the time I was there so unsure if there is a "second" joiner fee.

Rooms are on the high end and run around $60+ a night. Usually, that's a non starter for me, but I don't mind splurging for a few nights each trip. Luckily, they upgraded my room to an "apartment" for free. Pics below.

Staff was courteous if a little stiff. Internet was fine in the rooms although you are made to log back on several times during the day. (Probably fixed that by now) Didn't try the food onsite since there are a ton of cheaper options around. Did try the laundry, which was fine. Quick turnaround.

The room itself is modern with a good layout. The bed was terrific and stood up to anything the girls and I could throw at it. AC blows cold, really cold. Lots of light in my room as well given that one whole wall is essentially windows with curtains or screens. Bathroom is sized right, but partitioned so that it actually feels a bit tight at times. Pool is fantastic and the gym has a good mix of free weights and cardio. Pool is indoors, but there are recliners on the roof top deck if you want a little sun.

Again, no funny looks bringing girls back and completely hassle free in the mornings when they left. Girls all commented that they liked the place. Not my everyday home, but I will definitely stay there again.

There was another thread about Aya Boutique just recently.

I reviewed it not so long ago.

Its a very nice hotel. 3 star in price but the rooms are actually very good for the money.

Its in a nice location in a great little side street that has the advantage of being officially pedestrianized. As the OP says it is very easy to get to Walking Street and you can easily get on the baht buses either side of the loop i.e. Beach Road and 2nd Road.

Thanks for the review, photos look good but unfortunately it is out of my budget.

Yea, price is definitely a concern although, as I said, I certainly don't mind spending a bit more as a splurge the last day or two of my trip. I've stayed there twice and haven't noticed a smell, but will try to pay more attention next time.

Stayed here also for 2 x 1 week, price is a bit above average but rooms, location and service compensate for that.

For me only disadvantage was the very small shower. One time had a suite at the front, which is nicer but also more expensive.

No probs with joiners (neither if you bring more than 1), only ID is obliged and when no idea they take a fingerprint for ID.

Very good, safe hotel with good service and close to WS and not so far to Soi Diana.

<p>In Pattaya again on September 28 to October 3 and then again in November!  :GoldenSmile1:

Life can be good!!!

I've stayed here both of my trips.  The staff is friendly, they thought it hilarious doing Songkran when I'd come in soaking wet and would greet me with a towel.  The location really is excellent, a quiet street but a few minutes to beach road and only a few more to WS, not far from LK Metro either.
