Can Pattaya become boring

What do youse normally do when it's winter aka rain season can you still get bored anywhere in Thailand

I become moody when I don't get any sunlight like I can relate whinging negative hater hating on anything it can get that bad, I normally turn to gaming but trying to break those habits it's not really healthy when it becomes addictive as crack and you spend to much time doing it especially pilling up dexamphetamines and drinking boxes of red bull and ordering take out every meal all for that dopamine fix and ordering a hooker now and then for the weekends and having a high addiction to porn that makes you become desensitized over the years while become more disturbing and perverted as time passes by

Just saying that lifestyle can mess you up mentally and physically like damage the eyes put on that tummy fats don't care for hygiene and will lead to depression and bad moods so got to keep that obsession in check I don't want to become a fat neckbeard with bitch tits so I turned to bodybuilding and get the enjoyment out of that even started to enjoy the pain that comes with it, It's rally not for everyone and it's a challenge not every one can do it while reaping the health benefits and feels good mane

I don't know where I was going with this just saying I hate winter and all places that get cold are the last places I want to be... So what do youse do when you don't get out and how to past time enjoying this fucking life.

Sounds like your stressed mate! I get stressed/depressed have panic attacks all that shit and its not pretty! One day I can be high on life, then the next wonder what's the point! I think for me alcohol is a big killer and I try and have three months off the piss at least once a year. Maby in the winter take vitamin D? Maby take a holiday elsewhere other the Pattaya throughout winer? Give up the habits! Sounds easy but it's not. I can't think of many good habits in life, keep fit and socialise. Can you get bored in Pattaya? I could not.. If I did I would travel elsewhere.

When I started staying here for longer spells than your 2 or 3 couple of week holiday per year, yes aspects of Pattaya become tedious. Having said that, overall I am far from bored, but now live very differently and generally do different things to what I did when I was a tourist.

When it comes to anything except sex, moderation is good. I limit myself to one or two nights a week of barcrawling... I had routines in the past where i went out everynight for maybe 2 months and got bored of it for awhile after that.

I wouldn't say I'm ever stressed I got nothing to stress about besides getting a better income to support the lifestyle I'm after

I'm considering the military just looking into the pros and cons I just don't know if it's what I want to do for income

I really don't have any core morals though so don't know how the psychology evaluation will go, I just want the training and skills out of it and a better income to travel where ever I want... I want true freedom really that my core morals to do what ever I want.

No disrespect bud,but what you are feeling isn't really about Pattaya..

It seems to be more about life in general.

So firstly your thread title may need some tidying up.

Add a bit of exercise to your daily routine. Nothing like a good endorphin rush to start your mongering day.

For Pattaya to become boring, I think you really must be a boring sort of person.  The opertunities are endless in Pattaya for fun of all sort and the only thing that stops this would be the lack of cash!  No cash in Pattaya and yes it could be boring.

I was only bored when I was hanging out with my friend who wasn't into partying sadly... But when I was alone it was a blast.

There is always a reason why we dont feel good. Just be honest with yourself, identify it and change something about it. After I moved to Pattaya and been here for two years I started getting frustrated. I identified three reasons for my feelings - I got tired of the bar scene, I got tired of working and living at the same place and I got tired of the area where I was staying. I made some changes - got into a relationship with a more or less decent thai girl (yeah, yeah...), rented an office and separated my living space from my office space, the office is in far end of Jomtien so had to rent a car to go there and back and had to start driving here. That lead to new opportunities like road trips to Sattahip, Bang Saray, Rayong etc. I am enjoying life again and enjoying Pattaya again and feeling good.

Not having a pop at you Tony but you only visit the place so it would seem good to you, same with Gar, ask him where he prefers to live ?

Me ? I've been here nearly 8 years now and to be honest I hate the place with a passion. Not going to go into reasons on here but if we ever bump into each other again I'll tell you my reasons.

Short Stay visitors often burn out at some point in their trip as they attempt to cram in as much as they can.

:Sick5:

A solution could be to just take a day off.... A 'Rest Day' if you will and recharge your batteries.

Unthinkable?..... :68:

It works for me anyways..... :GoldenSmile1:

I only visit maybe ten times a year but did live on Darkside for a while before.  Spend a lot of time with Gar and I know he much prefers to live where he is now.  Me, I am so happy to be able to live where I do and visit Pattaya all the time.  Look forward to meeting you again anytime.  I try to fit in as much as I can on my visits and can honestly say that I have never been bored for a minute, but you are right, I am just a frequent visitor now.  I am just as happy when I go home from Pattaya as when i go to Pattaya, both have their benefits for me.

I had a forced rest day where I just felt like shite, woke up about 12ish in the afternoon and had my breakfast in the Kilkenny before heading back to my room after the cleaner had finished and slept right through to 4am the next day. Not sure how I managed it as in the Billabong the noise in LK Metro is rediculous but after this forced break I felt amazing and was able to enjoy the last few days of my holiday.

I often find that it's not necessarily getting bored of Pattaya, although to me it feels that way, but more getting burnt out.A wee break is good but the only thingthat annoys me is on my last few days I'm really pumped which kinda makes the arrival of the taxi to the airport as the most depressing time ever.

Boring. Really..?  Never been that way for me.

Given you got to sleep about 6 or 8 hours a day, if you here a long time, ( other wise you just go down hill health wise..? )

That only leaves, about 16 hours a day to do all the other stuff, even eating, an hour in the gym maybe, or even a bit of exercise, even walking.

Then its the bars, daytime and nightime, by yourself, or with friends, drinking, looking at all the girls, and there are so many bars worth a look, girls as well. 555

All the disos as well...?

Then there is the Sex, yes don't forget the Sex. Maybe 2 girls a day on average, or just 1 when the girlfriend is in town..?

To give you an idea, I have a bucket list that I try to get to the bottom off, when it comes to girls, but there are so many, it just gets longer every time I go out..555

Bored..? Not a chance, life is too short when you are in Pattaya.

Wherever you go, you are still there.

A place can be as boring as you make it.

It can also be great, if you have the mindset to make it great.

Just saying I just liked pilling up with all types of stims and gaming >_> You know killing and dominating shit when I get a little bored

Just saying it makes me feel like shit after to long and hard to break that addiction it's like crack with pharmaceutical speed it can burn you out mentally after doing it a long time

I just want to know what anyone else would do especially in some where like Pattaya looks really interesting and stimulating, So wanted to know if others living there for awhile like I'm talking over a couple of months at a time what they do when they get bored of life in general.

Hi PHEAT. ( If you lived in Patts full time you will soon get bored with that routine)

I will have to disagree with you on that.

While I might not live here 100% of the time, as I still do some work.

When I am working, I fly here every 26 days, for 9 days R+R.

But given that in the last 5 years, I have only worked 25% of that time and with the exception of my trips to Angelese, and Cambodia, I am here in Pattaya. with long periods of 12 or 18 months.

So I feel I am really living here when I am not at work.

So my routine, seems to suit me, and the fact I get into JP bar nearly every morning, for weeks at a time, and I still love it, warts and all, shows me that this is what I was born to do..? 555.

In fact to give you an idea, When I first started these long stints here, I stayed in the grand hotel, soi 14 walking st for 6 months, before moving into a condo, and I don't remember getting out of bed before 5 pm that whole time, and I was usually getting into bed at 8 am, 9am, or even 10 am with my first or last, ( depends on how you look at it,)  girl for the day, mostly from JP bar.

Now you are likely doing the maths, saying, impossible, as yes I know its over 500, but I must tell you, I am way way past that now. 555

In those days I was less fussy and would easily take 3 girls a day. Now it is usually less, as I, like most guys here a long time, get fussy with the selection of the girl they want. Hell some days I have even only had one girl, shock horror...555

But given that I don't drink, ever, gives you some idea, why I can do it. I do hear stories from girls and guys who are so drunk when they take the girl home, after a good night out, nothing happens..?

For me I really cant remember that ever being the case, for me, but I do prefer the short time, over the long time, with 90% of the girls I take.

So getting bored..?  Not me, I am just as excited about going out to look at or for girls, as I was when I first came here. 555

I've had two independent sources tell me how after initially loving the place, after being burnt by a few girls (being loved up), they could only see it as a cesspool of deception and sadness. It was kind of spooky how similar some of their comments were. Is this in any way similar to your views?

I just didn't understand why the deception came as a revelation, these girls are paid to tell you what you want to hear, and if you're foolish enough to launch into a romance, up to you but at least be prepared to deal with the likely outcome. The sadness thing (suggesting that all girls are sad despite outward appearances), well some might suggest the same of mongers - we're all deep down sad, trying to fill a void with meaningless sex. Perhaps some element of truth to it, but it's called the human condition, we're (largely) never satisfied with what we have.
