No not close to Walking Street, but across the road from LK Metro

I stayed there in 2011 and it was looking a bit old then but still a nice place and good location if you like the LK Metro area. 

For the price it's awesome but it's not that close to Walking Street.

stayed there a few times on soi lengkee

not far from soi buakhao , soi Dianna , LK Metro.

rooms basic , stocked fridge, beer , chocolate condoms

tv basic channels,

small pool,

balcony pool side rooms.

room safe in wardrobe

daily cleaning.

security. sign in book for guests

no problem 2 or 3  guests, just raised eye brows ,

has a restaurant, open 8am to 6pm ,ok for basics.

laundry if required sent out .

reasonable rates

lots of Americans prefer the arecia lodge hotel

a few minutes walk from oprey de place

more modern hotel but more expensive

decent breakfast included in room rate

Never stayed but my mate stays there every trip and swears by the place.

Stayed there once, location is great for LK Metro area. 100 meters to baht bus and 10 minutes to Walking Street.

Rooms were big, getting old but quite comfortable for the money. Small pool. Safes are behind reception in a locked rom.

i stayed there and i was sick as a pig with the air con never been cleaned.

 

me and my girl was both sick and as soon as we moved to the next place we both was fine

 

Try nature view just around the corner on soi buakhaw and its only a few years old and around the same price.

Your thinking of somwhere else mate-10 minutes on a motor taxi and 20/30 minutes walking

I'm a regular in the "Today" bar across the street from Opey. say hello to Tui the manager, her gorgeous daughter works in the internet cafe next door.

me too... I stayed a few years ago .....but I was sick as a dog. Chest infection so maybe you're right about that. (aircon)

The pool was good. It Is getting a bit tired.

To get away from the scumbags, you are going to need to lean more toward hotels such as the Hilton. Don't even consider this area. If you've spent any time in Pattaya, surely you know Soi Lengkee.

I used to stay at the Opey quite often

But about 18 months ago

The Opey put their room rates up by 30%

Not worth the price increase

The rooms are well overdue a refurb

But great location ,nice swimming pool

I stayed there in feb

no problems for me, rooms are a little bit dated

great location, free wifi, nice swimming pool

under 1000 a night

I would stay again

I stayed there xmas/new year. 1100 Baht/day.

Room is ok, with room safe, fridge, aircon, balcony, and the place is in the middle of the action.

The beds are a bit overused and shoud be replaced.

Ive stayed there quite a few times recently and cannot fault it for the money i paid.location is spot on for me and the pool is good too.would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who doesnt want to spend over 1000 baht a night.

Okay the million dollar question. Does Opey have the option of COLD shower/water? I don't mean warm but COLD.

 

I kind of like my cold showers lol

 

I would have love to stayed in China garden but the water/shower was too warm for me the last time I was there last year.
