Vietnam airlines

I was just looking to book my flight for around christmas time with my usual airline thai airways.

When i noticed flights for half the price with Vietnam airlines.

 

Has anybody flown with them and is it worth the saving ?

Has anyone tried the London to Thailand route?

Is it a direct flight? Or a stop over in hcmc or Hanoi?

They are a basic but good airline, I have flown Melbourne - HCMC return 5 times.  From memory a few flight did not have behind the seat tv, but that was a few years ago.
