Also give the NAGS HEAD a try. Just past casa pascal heading north. I often stopped in and sat at the first table as you enter on the right. Plenty of action to observe while you eat and prompt friendly service.

Bay watch restaurant near the corner of Soi 13 and Beach Rd. Food is good, cheap and the Cappucino isn't bad either.

take yourself across the street to the nags head, it get the thumbs up from me

shame about the not included bit because the Marriott breakfast is really good

Try Baywatch on Beach Road. Breakfast is good, inexpensive and they have decent Cappuccino. It's near the corner of Soi 13. You can sit and look at traffic and the girls working the beach sidewalk.
