HUA HIN ACCOMODATION AND BAR SCENE REPORTS 2014

Recommended Posts

CAREFUL

Please can you tell me a good place to stay in Hua Hin -- close to bars -- say 10 mins walk or 15 as maximum. Perhaps you can give me an Agoda Link when you suggest so I can book. Just after a good quality hotel or guest house that girl friendly.

If you have any news or reviews of bar scene in Hua Hin this would be greatly appreciated as no holiday accommodation  will be availed if place is now somewhat dead and not worth a visit -- I would rather be spending an extra week in Pattaya==just choosing Hua Hin as went there some 7 years ago and enjoyed my week visit.

Cheers

Jed Pee Nong hotel or Citin Loft both very close to the bars and the night market I stayed at the Citin Loft was very happy. Lots of bars but limited number of girls in each. I am returning next month for another stay :-)

I also stayed at the Citin Loft and had no problems with the place and the WIFI was good which is important to me. As mentioned close to the bars but in a quiet area. Would stay again.

Nothing like Pattaya of course allot more quiet but there are girls out there just not the same quantity. No big night clubs and discos either.

Jing's Guesthouse is good if you are looking for a guesthouse. Great location but no swimming pool.

Many condo's for holiday rentals in HH, most of them are better and cheaper as the hotels. I found many for beginning of december even starting for 6000 / week with big swimming pool, most go for 8k - 12k !

I have stayed at Whitesands 3 times.

5 minutes max walk to bars AND beach. Some great, but pricy, restaurants within a minutes walk.

Get the courtyard rooms and ground floor.

Pool is small but secluded and never busy so size doesn't really matter.

Rooms high quality for the price.

One of my best Soi's in Thailand, even Linda's bar is very quirky. you can get anything from a haircut to p4p with fish n chips in the middle, All on one soi and very cheap too

Thanks for this thread. This is some info I was wanting. Thinking of spending a few days in Hua Hin on my next trip. Is info still valid in 2019? Just asking in case some places changed their names or the properties  has become run down.

Have a look in the Central Thailand section.
