At 8.28 the flames flare up, to produce a cremated hamburger?

No relish?

What about a good BBQ sauce if its a Jack Daniels burger?

I think we have a huge divide in burgers here.

The UK and North America are that far apart?

This could break out in war.lol.

What kind of relish? There's lots of different types.

I've no objection to relish or BBQ sauce as long as they are strong

and applied in small quantities under the beef patty.

Don't shoot!   :Surrender1:

That’s what cutlery is invented for.

.....exactly as suggested in my post.

Quote.......

1. Squash the burger down.

2. Attack the burger from various angles.

3. Dismantle the burger and eat piecemeal.

An 8" burger certainly can't be eaten using method 1.

Method 2 (your preferred approach) can get very messy, as already discussed.

If method 3 is used, there is no point in the bread bun.

Just put the contents on a plate and eat with a knife and fork......unquote.

Great info thanks... Good news today, the same bakery that supplies the Firehouse in Soi 11 burger buns & slider buns will be supplying us in Pattaya, they are fantastic kaiser buns...

We will just have mayo on the buns, but there will be lots of options for burgers such as blue cheese, BBQ, swiss mushroom etc

Ok,so I took another one for the team today and ordered the world famous "Cookhouse Burger."

In the pursuit of a great burger I think I may have stumbled upon Xanadu.

The Cookhouse is 1/2 pound of charbroiled burger, with Swiss cheese, mushrooms and his famous BBQ sauce.image.jpg

Notice the mayo and seeded mustard under the patty and on the top bun.image.jpgimage.jpg

Even with the squash factor and reboundage,I struggled to keep this burger below 3 inches in height.image.jpgimage.jpg

Also, the fact that he had the mushrooms UNDER the cheese with the BBQ sauce meant for minimal mess.image.jpg

Easy to eat and one of the most delicious burgers I've ever had.

If the OP is thinking of making his establishment known for something great, this burger is the perfect place to start.

The word great gets tossed around a little too much for my liking, but I would have to say, this burger borders on perfection.

image.jpgimage.jpg

I would gladly pay 300-400 baht for this product,if it came with fries or a nice soup.

You just cannot get a hamburger of this quality in Pattaya......yet.

Then build a place that makes it...or not.Up to you.

You're not being so bold as to assume not having a great burger would keep me from Pattaya are you?

Glad to see you're taking this thread seriously, Skalliwag.

Even down to taking a tape measure to the burger bar!

We need more dedicated burgerologists like you.

The reason your burger squidged down so well was the large amount of lettuce.

I also notice also that the bread roll had been toasted on the inside - very wise.

Still a messy eat with all that cheese and mushroom sauce though!

We definitely need a Skalli burger Palace in Patts.

All burgers to be served with soup :)

Cheers for the dedication, I'm also ploughing my way through countless burgers & steak, cooked in-house and other venues, its hard work but someone has to do it! Our bun's will definitely be lightly toasted....

We will have "Sliders" on the menu, 3 mini slider burgers per portion with a selection on ingredients to customize your own burger, personally I love these bite size burgers.
