My mate is selling his iPhone 4. It will need to be unlocked for a Thai sim but any phone shop in Tukcom will do that cheaply.

It's in good condition so make me an offer.

It all depends on what carrier it is locked too.  Some are fairly cheap to factory unlock, some are so expensive that is would cost more than you could sell your phone for.

Because I couldn't be arsed

I don't plan on being up near the shop and as it's not my phone or profit I just want to sell it as is.

I will check the imei later to see how old it is. I think it's about 2 yrs.

 

He can get €200 for it back home but a bigger hassle to unlock as it was second hand when he got it and never got it unlocked at the time as he was on the same network. Now they won't unlock it as he is not the original owner on the account.

Here it makes no difference who owned it as they unlock everything.

It is exactly the same price to unlock any network at Tukcom.

I have done all my old phones there and a lot of mates ones too.

You can get a gevey sim which will allow u to use your own sim in it as long as the gevey sim is in the phone aswell for about 200 baht.

The last time I unlocked a phone totally it was 500baht.

Either option works fine.

I asked about factory unlocking a uk orange iphone 4 and they where telling me 5000 bht in tuckom hence I am taking it home again!
