Beach house on Koh Samet

Hi,

 

Looking to take a 2 day trip to Koh Samet. I will be going on week days, as I have heard it's quite crowded with Bangkok people in the weekend.

 

Can anybody recommend accommodation per own experience?

I really want something where I will open my door straight out to the beach - living as close to the beach as possible.

 

Any recommendations?

You really got Two choices Matey those that you see as you approach the Island to the Right or those on the other side all the way around to the Headland.

 

The one's you see as you come are to be Honest Shit and the other side are nice but there is FA to do but laze around the last thing you should do is consider taking a Bike at Night to where things are happening IE the Fire Shows etc.

 

It is over rated a bit in my Book Samet and if you got a few more days to spare Koh Chaing is a better option.

 

Do not expect anything like Paradise on the Island or you will be disappointed somewhat

hotels around White Sands areas are nice, but if you use any Web based Sites, IE Booking.com, click on location to find property away from the main things or you will be in Back Packer Hell and some should show up as Beach front abodes.

 

I did stay around 5 Years ago in One but forgot its' Name just had a Search but cannot find it sorry

You have convinced me to go to koh Chang instead ;-)

 

I will have a look at the map on Agoda, and see if I can find something interesting.
