Have a night out in Bangkok?

If not the big question is what sort of money do you want to spend.

There are lots to choose from on booking.com but I can recommend these personally going from cheap and cheerful upwards

Thong Ta resort

The Cottage Suvarnabhumi

Novotel Suvarnabhumi

Agoda has quite a few listed and several of them offer transportation also. I used one but cannot remember the name since it was a few years ago.

at the very least you need a beer."

The give us an idea of what money you want to spend and we will happily recommend a hotel in Bangkok.

Its only for 1 night so money not really an issue really, but say midrange.I was more interested in closest .The extra I spend on a hotel I could get backby getting the Bell Bus the following morning Tnx

Decent hotel at Suvanabhumi is  Great Residence hotel.  Last time I stayed there it was well under 1,000 baht and included the transfers too and from the airport.  Travel time was quick and the service very good.  hotel very clean and has a swimming pool, local restaurants nearby, look it up on internet. Believe Agoda do bookings for there.

I would definitely head to the city, and get a room around the soi 4 Nana Plaza area...  tons of 3, 4 and 5 star hotels there for amazing prices...

I always shop with Agoda, if you go to Agoda from the links on this site they get a little commission, it's a good way to support the forum...

Two best hotels I have stayed at are the Presidential Solitaire and the Residence Inn (Marriott), both were excellent, and within walking distance of the fun...

Also stayed at the Dawin, a step or two down in opulence and stars, but very nice, and even closer to the action, just a couple of blocks down soi 4 from Nana Plaza, Annies Soapies, etc...

Have fun!
