Farmer kills himself over debts

A farmer in Prachin Buri's Muang district committed suicide Thursday reportedly due to stress over outstanding debts and a mill only offering buy his rice at Bt5,500 per tonne.

Very sad, a terribly depressing situation to be in some farmers in my country have killed themselves over debt, they work very hard and were once the backbone of our great country.
