Dusit Thani Bangkok announced on Friday that shark fin soup would no longer be available at any of the hotel's eight dining establishments. The removal of the dish emphasises the luxurious hotel's continuous drive to do whatever possible to benefit the planet and its environment.

Good.  No tree hugger here but what I've seen about shark fishing makes me sick.

i have never tried sharks fin soup and i don't much want to.

there is still a street restaurant  on 2nd road which displays sharks fins in the front display cabinet.

i guess it's the chinese who like it - no have heart.

just because i am paranoid does not mean that they are not following me.
