Right off Soi Diana there's a gent who rents out ATV's. He wants a PASSPORT only and no copies, also wants 1500B daily for the rental. We weren't too keen on giving away our passports so that was a no-go. Rented some customized scooters for 300B a day with only a photocopy of your passport needed.

For help or advice with Vehicle Inspections and Repair anywhere in Thailand, send me a PM!

Why you want to drive a quad on the street is beyond my comprehension.

They are made to go off road. :Chokdee:

I hired one before and they are so dangerous it almost tipped over loads of times, i'm sticking to the bikes.

Have to agree with farangkwaiyai they are dangerous on solid surfaces and not suited for road travel, they are more suited for sand and dirt, great on farms

We had them at work for a while but got rid of them after several near misses

Place on Tipp Plaza building just behind the Subway on beach road

Thats the place I was gonna recommend, as far as i can remember they were about 350 baht per day starting with the smaller ones.

Last 3 times I've been, I've been renting rev and go auto bikes from a guy on 2nd road, can't exactly pinpoint where he is but again as far as I remember he has a hut/shop sort of thing directly opposite the Welcome Plaza hotel, his shop has them black t-shirts hanging all over the place.

Also rents cars etc, but for the bikes he charges 150 baht per day, taking a 1000 baht deposit, no hassles and a very friendly and helpful guy!
