Hope u enjoy these photos because i loved taking em

The area is Wang Nam Keaw in Korat province.

Its a place ive had the good fortune of visiting many times & hope to make my home there 1 day.

The photos above are of a lake ov which there are loads in the area but not as lovely as this one.

Also theres some big fish in the lake & been told the biggest fish caught there was well over 40Lbs.

 

Next set of photos are about 5 k drive from the lake up towards the national park with stunning views of the area & beyond.

Not sure wot this reads

Shame there was a mist about but believe me when i say "stunning view"

Thanks for the pics and the tip. Got a Vivitar 5MP ViviCam 5105s myself. Great for snaps but like your one, battery life is an issue. I'm looking to upgrade so if you or anyone else has any serious tips on a good camera, I'm all ears.......

Defo ganna upgrade,shame really because i like the camera just hate changing the batteries & recharing em which takes all bloody night.

Nice pictures , i have been lucky to have visit Phetchabun a few times and always feel alive and happy when am in the countryside !!

Very nice indeed. Can you swim in the river? currents, snags, creatures like snakes, any problems like that? I love to swim in Thailand, waterfall pools etc. Once swam in Pai River, until I realised number of snakes I was sharing it with.

Yep swum in that lake a few times.Only thing you have to be carefull about is if you have any open wounds as they could get infected by the tiny bugs you get in any river or lake in Los.Seen a few snakes around the lake but never swimming in it.

Thxs Lincslad great thing about this place is its just a 40 minute drive from Korat City for all your western needs ie-cinema tesco lotus, Japenese Resturants etc etc.

he he, number 3 kind of remind me small pools where I used to catch newts when I was a small boy ;-) I wonder if there is any in there...wow this must be the strangest question I ever asked about LOS ;-)
