I am English but very rarely visit blighty. I fit all criteria for a one year multiple entry marriage visa but was only able to get a 3 month single entry visa from the Thai embassy in Pretoria last week.

I am in Patts for a week in June and want to know the QUICKEST way of getting my One Year NON O visa issued.

In the past (in a previous marriage) I flew down to KL and had the visa issued no problem but want to know if there is a quicker way in Patts or BKK..

Does anybody know a good agency that does this??

Has anybody used the agency by ACE Cafe, Jomtien???

Thanks in Advance!!! :D

I am only going on what I have seen posted and that was quite a while ago now. I remember reading that they don't issue those visas if you are already in the country. I have also read that the nieghbouring countries no longer issue non-imm visas. I know that the consulate in Perth in Australia issues them easily.

Thats what I thought but the Embassy in Pretoria insisted that they could only issue me with the 3 monther ( even though I fitted the criteria) and that I could then get the one year in LOS... :D

I dont beleive Thailand will issue the 1 year visa unless you meet their criteria of a work visa or age 50 to get the retired visa..

Hi,

For marriage visa you need:

• 3 copies of your passport with a non emigrant O visa (3months). You must apply less than one month before end of visa.

• 3 Copies of your Thai marriage license,

• If you have children (with Thai national of course) 3 copies act of birth,

• Pictures of your wife and you inside your house in Thailand (3 or 4 different pictures)

• Tax payment attestation (yellow paper), this document prove a minimum of 40 000 thb incomes/month in Thailand for you or your wife. Copy of bank book is not needed anymore.

• Document to prove your address in Thailand. If it is your first application, an officer of immigration office will come to your home to verify if marriage is real.

• Fees 1 900 thb

With your one year visa, you can apply for multiple entries document (around 4 000 thb).

Cheers

Why do you need an agency?? You've been told by another poster exactly what you need, if you fulfill those requirements including earning a taxable income of 40,000 baht a month in Thailand then just go down to immigration in soi 5 Jomtien and fill the form in.

Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital ingredient in beer.
