I was searching for the answer to the extra mileage charge for the Etihad chauffeur when going to or from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pattaya but I couldn't find an answer anywhere. Anyway, as I now have the details, I thought I'd post them here.

The normal distance limits are 60km to or from Suvarnabhumi Airport and as Pattaya is around 125km from Suvarnabhumi Airport, the additional charge is Bt2500.

This is for a Mercedes E or S class, dependent upon your tier status and when travelling in business or first class.

Double the charge for a cheap taxi I guess but comparable for an Airport Limousine charge.

Given the telephone number they gave me, which is 02 651 0808, the company operating the service on behalf of Etihad is http://www.limousinethailand.com/

Have used the Etihad service before when the limit was 100km rather than the 60km and driver said just tip him and not worry. Gave him 500 tip and he was delighted
