Drunken Heartbroken Cambodian Fisherman Falls Over Board

SATTAHIP – February 10,2014 [PDN]; at 16.00, Pol.Capt. Saijai Kamjulla, detective officer of the shift, was notified that there was a boat crew member who had fallen accidentally into the sea, at Petai peir, moo 4 , Bangsare, Sattahip, so he went with rescuers from Sawangrojana Thammasathan foundation, Sattahip.

At the scene was a trawler fishing boat, called Wannee Pachoke 10, the boat crew was trying to lift the body of Mr.Sim, 35 years old from Cambodia out of the sea. He had been drown for several minutes and had wounds on his face. The rescuers tried to perform CPR and sent him to the emergency room of Queen Sirikit hospital, where he later died.

A witness said he saw the man drinking alone, so he asked him why, he said he was heartbroken so he decided to drink to drown his sorrows.
