A director becomes enslaved by desire after reluctantly agreeing to audition one last actress for the lead role of his play.

The film is an adaptation of David Ives’s play “Venus in Fur,” a Broadway and off-Broadway success, that received a Tony® nomination for Best Play and garnered a Tony for Nina Arianda as Best Actress.
