Mother Complains To Media That Her Daughter Was Assaulted

A mother took her 6-year-old daughter to the mass media to complain that she had been indecently assaulted by her friends at the same school.

TRANG – February 6, 2014 [PDN]; Mrs. Khem (alias), aged 30, the resident of Amphur Yarn Ta Khao, Trang province, together with Miss Sao (alias), her daughter aged 6 years old and 7 months, who is a kindergarten student (year 2-class) of one school in Amphur Yarn Ta Khao, Trang province, went to complain with the mass media of Trang province that her daughter had been indecently assaulted by her kindergarten classmates and senior students which consisted of 1 boy and 4 girls who took Miss Sao to a hill near the school and indecently assaulted her by inserting a buckle into her vagina causing it to become swollen and sore .’ Miss Sao was also disgraced didn’t dare to go to school for over a week because she was mimicked by her schoolmates.

Mrs. Khem (alias) said that this incident had occurred on January 29th, 2014. She went to pick up her daughter after school and she noticed that her daughter was acting strange but still took her to be taken care of by her grandmother and Mrs. Khem then went out to work. When she came home her grandmother said that Miss Sao was so depressed and didn’t want to eat any food. Mrs. Khem then ask her daughter what was wrong but she wouldn’t say,therefore Mrs. Khem went to the school then she knew that her daughter had been injured by a form ofsexual harassment so she took her daughter to the police at Yarn Ta Khao police station where she told the police that she was indecently assaulted by her friends that would insert a buckle into her vagina. The officers made note of daily record and let Mrs. Khem take her daughter to have physical examination at Yarn Ta Khao hospital for evidence.

Afterwards Mrs. Khem went to ask for explanation from the teachers why they neglected her daughter and let this incident happen even though it was during the class time but the teachers told her that they had already reproved the 5 students and the cause of this incident was that the students just played together.
Mrs. Khem (alias) also said that she had complained to the mass media because she wanted someone to be responsible for this incident and she didn’t want other children to be bullied like this anymore.
