UTCC expects growth to be lower than 2 per cent

The Thai economy is in risk of expanding lower than 2 per cent this year, if the political turmoil in the country is further continued or Thailand fails to establish the new government within next six months, according to Thanavat Phonvichai, director of the Economic and Business Forecasting Centre of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
