Since I skipped the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs 2 years ago and will likely forego them again this year because of a LOS trip it is a no brainer for me. Then again my team hasn't won any type of championship in 40 years and if I was present for it I would likely have a heart attack anyway!

Since Stuttgart won't make a CL final in the next 100 years no need to worry about that.... But I still got a national team that is able to make it into big finals. Not like some other grand old football nations that won't even qualify

Well, cant deny that matey, bizarre how the national and international performances vary so widely. The German league is in pretty dire straits but they will almost certainly be contenders in the Euro finals as usual.

There's an easy explanation why the English clubs perform that great but your national side sucks: The foreigners in the Premier League! The best of the world are playing for English clubs nowadays and the mediocre English players shine besides them as well. I'd really like to see how some of the English national players would perform in other European leagues.

But I don't have an explanation why the Bundesliga clubs perform that miserably on the European stage. I mean Bayern is almost the complete German national team plus players like Toni, Ribery and Lucio who are great but they get bashed by St. Petersburg.

The German league itself is underrated imo, its very competetive, great stadiums, even when two teams from the middle of the league are playing you got sold out 50.000 in attendance and its not as predictable as other leagues, everyone can beat anyone.

Been a liverpool fan and tired of european cup finals it has to be LOS lol
