Ex-Convicts Argued About Money Lesulting Being Shot In The Mouth

CHONBURI – February 3,2014 [PDN]; at 00.30, Pol.Lt.Capt. Ratchawat Namchimplee, officer of the shift of Muangchonburi police station, with Pol.Maj.Gen.Katcha Thatusart, commissioner of Chonburi provincial police, Pol.Col.Surapong Thaiprasert, derector, Pol.Lt.Col. Theerasak Jarernsee, vice director, of Muangchonburi police station, were notified that a male known as Mr.Worawut Matnawee, 35 years old had been shot once in the mouth with a 9 mm gun and the bullet had lodged in his head. The incident happened in a rental room, number 8, number 150/1, at the top of soi Bangsai 95, moo 6, Bangsai, Muang, Chonburi.

Pol.Maj.Gen. Katcha Thatusart, commissioner of Chonburi provincial police, revealed that from asking the father of the deceased he said that his son just got out from the jail with his 2 friends. They were in prison for drug dealing and once they were released they rented rooms next to each other. The deceased was hired by some entrepreneur, before it happened, the father blamed one of his friends for walking too loudly on the second floor because the floor was made from wood. When the deceased heard it he came out of his room with a gun and smacked the door down which ended up in them fighting with the man who blame his father and suddenly there was a gun shot and the 2 friends ran down the stairs and rode their motorcycle away.

Pol.Maj.Gen. Katcha revealed that initially, they did not believe the testimony of the father of the deceased, so he questioned people who heard the gun shot and they said they heard the deceased and a friend arguing about a debt then they got into a fight then the gun went off.

From checking the area and the body, the police expected that they argued about money and the deceased pointed his gun at them but the two friends tried to snatch the gun, and he got shot in the mouth, so the police tried to collect the evidence and to ask for an arrest warrant to arrest the 2 friends .
