Powerstation gym on Walking Street (near soi 16, located in the back of Club Abyzz) is now closed, equipment moved to Tony's gym on third road.

So I heard.

Was my go to gym during my Pattaya trips. Not the best or most variety of equipment, and suffocating as hell, but worked great for me.

He is not to be trusted. I emailed him regarding the rumored closing of the old soi 16 Powersation (that place was awesome-aircon free towels and cold water-sauna whirlpool- swimming pool) and he promised me that he would not close the joint:

Hello,

I have a membership at your Soi 16 location, and I was wondering if it will continue to be open after your new facility opens?

Thanks

Hi Davie
I can assure you, Life Fitness will not be closing, in fact it will be expanding, as you can see work is in progress at the moment.
The new facility is scheduled for completion in March next year.

Anything Tony I tend to stay away from as it always seams too good to be true.

I was told when you pay the life time membership its all for free and now you have to pay for some things that came for free and now closing gym's

I guess next year they well be re opening again and offering a new life membership

Devious individual and not to be trusted. Life time memberships in Thailand.......Yeah right !

All Tony's business is aimed at ripping off first time or one time visitors to Pattaya. He doesn't care about repeats. So it's high prices for poor service and false promises. I had a 1 year membership at his Gyms for 8k and they told me back then I could renew it at this price next year. When I came to renew it this year they told me that it was just a promotion and I had to pay 13k now. It's the same worn down gym on the 3rd road. And some of the equipment was removed as tony loves stealing equipment from the existing Gyms to fill the new ones. Yet they wanted me to pay 1.5 times more. It should be less not more.

I told their staff that I would not pay more than 8k and they would lose a long time customer if they don't stick to their original deal. I was told to fuck off in a polite way. Now I am a client of the Universe gym on Sukhumvit. 4k per year. 6k for you and your girlfriend. Same quality as Tony's gym.

I Also used to be a Tony's guy. Was gutted to see the so called new gym on Soi Buachao, absolute shit. I too, has changed to Universe gym, although I might try out the Refresh fitness on the hill

Yep I was a user of the Power station gym that was great - was cheap (just did some sort of weekly type pass), plenty of variety of equipment, decent size and if I remember correctly was 24hrs.

Then next time I came to Pattaya it was closed and had located on Walking Street which I did not like as was tiny and very limited equipment.

He had a golden goose there, but he either was too short sighted to realize it, or figured he could make more cash with his other crappy Gyms.

There was a Farang chic that used to go nude in the sauna! :GoldenSmile1:

If anyone thinks Tony makes his cash from the Gyms you're mental
