Adam, I am now in serious trouble, as I always stay on Soi 13. No more baht bus. Now I will have to stop every night on my way back to the hotel. If you have action in the afternoon, I have a new place to stop on my way to Walking Street.

This is very sad from my perspective. The times I visited the Cherry Bar nothing was going on. However, I planned to give it another go this time around. I liked the fact that the bar posted photos of its hostesses, and it was always very well mentioned on the boards. I will be very close to the new location and definitely drop in. No need to name it Cherry Bar 2. Rather, I would just name it Cherry Bar. This lets mongers know that the tradition continues. By the way, was the bar you will be taking over owned by a Brit named Mark? Seems I remember him telling me that he was part owner of a bar on the Soi you are now operating on.

A few pics from the final night. It was agood send off for what was probably my favourite bar in Pattaya. It was where i had my first drink in Pattaya, had many a memorable night there and barfined 7 lovely ladies (some several times) over the years. Sad to see it move from there but they have moved to another area. Details of the new bar can be found by clicking here.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And these are the sad shots which i took the following afternoon. Nearly bought a tear to my eye to see the place like this. The single bar stool out the front just seemed so fitting at a place where i had countless memories from.

That is kinda sad, Cherry was my home bar for many of my trips. Look forward to seeing the reno's.
