i have the virtumondo.dll on my pc and cant remove it with anything.

it keeps comming back.

it keeps me from going on to addicts when i use firefox.

at this moment i removed it with spybot, like i did yesterday and the day before.

but after every restart its back.

anyone know how to remove it?

I googled it and very very little came up.

A long shot but have you tried using Ad-Aware

I use it alot and works for me (it is freeware for private users)

Hope this helps.

and the damm thing didnt even see it coming.

cant even remove it with spyhunter.

the only one that helps a bit is spybot.

then you may have recently installed some program that has the dll file in it. when you reboot, it puts that file back into play.

If you have a pukka copy of Windows XP you can download "Windows Defender" from Microsoft FOC. I've been using it for years and never not had any spyware problems since.

I had a problem like this a while back. I got one of the computer specialists where I work to drain my computer and then put it all back on. That cleared the problem. You may have to do this.

Have you tried starting your computer in safe mode, and then going into your start up files in the registry and removing any files that shouldnt be there.

The only files I allow to execute on start up are my firewall and Antivirus

I agree windows defender or an upgraded AVG usually does the trick. The new AVG is pretty good.
