Dynasty Inn Pattaya

I am heading to Pattaya Sep - Oct and was thinking at staying at the Dynasty Inn. I have done a search to see what the hotel is like now but cannot seem to find an updated report about the rooms and staff now. I was there a few years ago and it had everything that I needed..good location...girl friendly ...good staff..etc.

Could anyone give me an updated version what it is like now and is it still value for money.

Thanks in advance.

:Whistle::P:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Where exactly is Dynasty Inn located? Is it close to the Areca Lodge? Will I have to cross 2nd road to get to places?

I also like the Dynasty but the new pricing is steep for me, I am trying to stay cheaper and visit more frequently.

Anyone had luck with cheaper rate for low season walk-in?

Dynasty Inn is on Soi 13 between Beach Road and 2nd Road.

You won't have to cross 2nd Road to get to Walking St., Soi 6, or Beach Rd establishments.

To get to Soi LK Metro you have to cross 2nd Rd, but you are close to Soi Dianna which leads to Soi LK Metro.

I like the location because Soi 13 is relatively quiet, but not far from the hot spots.

If you don't mind my asking, do you have special concerns about crossing 2nd Rd?

Its not that big a deal to cross second road, but everyday would be a hassle to me. Crossing it to get to Big C when I was staying at the Sabia Lodge was always troublesome. If I can avoid it, all the better.

Stayed there many times.

Staff are friendly though they are quick to challenge when you have more than one guest to increse the room rate.

Last few trips I have moved two doors up to Sandy Springs for the following reasons:-

. Better Pool. ( Dynasty only has small plunge pool on roof )

. Bigger rooms with better views (Some Dynasty rooms open to internal courtyard with views to other rooms.)

. More modern rooms

. If you want a seaview it is available at small increase in cost.

. Cheaper than Dynasty Inn

A plus for the Dynasty is you can get a free minibus from Dynasty BKK.

Check out Sandy Spring web site

always use a taxi - easy to have one more beer - more fun in back seat

I have not stayed there personally although a good friend of mine who lives in Pattaya for six months of the year recommends it very highly. I know its not the same but I stayed in the Bangkok one and it was very good for the money I paid.

Personally i do not think that you will go far wrong - I shall be over in December and it is one of the places i am looking at.

Love the Dynasty Inn on Soi 13. The service is great and the staff that work there are amazing people and they are so helpful with anything you need.

Location Location Location. The Dynasty is in the perfect location. IMHO. It is Centralized in Pattaya. When you come out the front door of the hotel if you walk to the right down the street you have 2nd Road. If you walk out the hotel and go left you will pass the Sportman (One of this Texas Boyz Fav place to Eat) and you will come up to Beach Road. The hotel has a Pool on the roof small pool but confortable. All the rooms have an in room safe and Cold AC and satillite TV. They have a 24 hours café and 24 hour room service (big plus for me for those days I come in from a night of partying). They also have great internet service in the lobby and confortable chairs to sit in while using the internet. The lobby is very cozy and the couches are very confortable. There is also a 7 eleven right next door and photo shop and markets and a Huge Entertainment Center right across the street. This may sound crazy to bring this up but it actually gives me some kind of relief is that on each floor it has the elevator of ofcourse but also has 3 sets of stairs on each floor that go from the roof to the ground floor. Definatly a plus as far as safety is concerned. It centralized and has access to both main roads and it is not far from all major party areas and shopping centers you can just walk. I most def recommend it. Dont get me wrong I have tried other hotels and I end up back at the Dynasty every time. It is not a plush and luxury hotel but a down home, confortable hotel and dont charge a arm and leg.

Becareful, The toes you step on today might be connected to the ass you kiss tomorrow... Arriba Arriba Cabrones!!!

Looks exactly the same as Dynasty inn Bkk. Only bad experience there in DI bkk was there was construction going on and was noisy as f#ck from 9am up so I my alarm clock was the banging and clanging of construction.
