How much for an X-Box 360

Hi everybody , I am after buying a Brand New X-Box 360 premium console , with 20GB hard drive , wireless controller , etc

if you can tell me the price please ??? , and would you go for the 360 ??, or the PS3 ???.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I was in tukcom about a month ago and they qouted 18000 with 2 wireles controlers and 5 games

a 360 will fetch around 12000 for the base system and controllers, up to 18000 for the full package. I've seen PS3's ranging from 15,000 to 25,000 depending on the model. The Asian market never got the higher capacity hard drives for the PS3 so if you want one with more GB's be prepared to pay more because it will most likely be imported and fitted with an adapter chip.

I paid 14,000, got 1 controller and 5 extra games. I bought another wireless controller. This was from the store on 2nd Road, just north of Pattaya Tai.

Cheers fellas , I am after 1 to put in my Condo when i am over , new to gaming so i was not sure how much .. and what to get !? , do you know if you can play copy games on them ??, or can someone do something at Tuk-com ???.

If bought in tukcom it should play copy games without any problems. If you are gonna take it home, dont forget to get an adaptor to plug it into your power supply at home, different pin configuration. whether it will play your local regional games is another question?? You can get them chipped at a couple of places in tukcom. try J20 on the fourth floor.

Saw the 360 for $567 Aussie the other day, a chipped Thai version might be worth the extra cash.

at Nadzproject.com the xboxes used to be around 11-12K baht (but sold out atm), a PS3 now goes for 15K baht there, which is cheaper then in Tukcom.

 

i didnt know which to pick, Xbox can be modchipped and play copied games, but they have serious issues with breaking down often and not sure on warranty over here... i dont really like Microsoft, so i decided to wait it out for the PS3 getting chipped and i bought a PS2 instead and was hoping chipped PS3 would be available by the time GTA4 comes out...

When we asked about 2 months ago neither the 360 or the PS3 could play copy games. Ended up buying a PS2 coz it was just for my kids. That might well have changed now but if you want cheap games its best to ask and not assume.
