Whats causing it? seems to be getting worse everyday, can't see Koh Larn anymore. Never remember seeing like this before, is it pollution from somewhere?

Sensible answer thank you lol

I'm also curious about this. The haze seems to come and go throughout the season. I don't think it's all pollution, but more related to atmospheric stability and inversions.

Was told by Thai lady that that isn't pollution. But she didn't tell me what it actually is.

Pattaya, you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.

Not a meteorologist by any means, but I assume it's connected to the recent cool spell, especially at nights.

Sometimes there's even a layer of 'dew' on my bike seat.

I'd guess this is just a heat haze as the moisture evaporates under the sun's rays.

Happens in Cleethorpes occasionally.  :hello09:

I believe what we're seeing is referred to as wet haze.

Explanation from Haze - Weather and Seasons:

Although haze is mostly a dry air phenomenon, particles in the haze may create condensation that may cause the subsequent formation of mist droplets. This phenomenon is known as wet haze.
