Hi, I'm Matt,

I'm new on here, so firstly apologies if this is posted in the wrong place.

I'm heading over from England for a week on the 15th of July. Does anyone have any tips for a first time visitor? where to go, where to avoid, etc....

Can't wait

Plenty of posts to read on this forum to help you out, read some trip reports aswell which will give you an idea.

My advice really is to just go with the flow, sure have a bit of a plan in your head but majority of the time those things never happen.

Also a week doesn't seem long enough.. you will only be dipping your toes.

Welcome to the board, Matt. I'm sure you will have a great trip this summer. I suggest you spend some time studying the Newbie Section and the Pattaya accommodation section.

Do your homework before you come to Pattaya.  Read up on this forum as much as you can.  The place can be over facing when you first come but just go with the flow and you will enjoy yourself..  When you get home again, keep reading up for the next trip which will be inevitable and see what you have missed first time around.  As said before, one week isnt really enough, just scratch the surface!

Best thing to do is read all the pinned topics in each section.

They are pinned for a very good reason.

Enjoy the ride and dont stress to much.

One week. Its a start, but definitely not long enough.  See if you can extend to two weeks.  Spend lots of time reading the stuff on PA.
