Was browsing on www.edgethailand.com and was reading about the wireless internet availability in Thailand. It appears from the information provided on the site, that DTAC provides a good service. Has anyone tried any wireless air card data plans in LOS?

 

I have a Sierra wireless 675 aircard unlocked for any provider, so I should not have any problems throwing a SIM in from any provider.

However having DSL in my apartment, at work and home, i am very impatient with load times

 

since you have the card, give it a whirl

 

do a little home work on speeds

 

search here and on PT and you should get well up to speed

if i take my macbook with me to LOS, I get a internet card from starbucks and use there net connection. the speed is good plus i have a coffee while browsing the net. The only thing i don't like are the prices. one hour normally costs 150b, but you do have the portability factor of taking a laptop into a starbucks and using the net.
