On Tuesday Evening Mr. Kiebert aged 39 from Switzerland was utilizing the services of a Baht Bus in Central Pattaya when he was joined on the Bus by a woman and transsexual who proceeded to sit either side of Mr. Kiebert. At that time, he suspected nothing until he realized that his wallet containing 1,500 Baht and his Visa Cards had been taken. Mr. Kiebert gave chase and managed to detain both suspected thieves and recover his wallet. The Police soon arrived and arrested Khun Banchar aged 22 and Khun Somshai aged 21. At the Police Station they explained to Police that they had run out of money due to the recent Songkran Festival and decided to enter a life of crime to replenish their depleted funds. Both are now behind bars awaiting a court appearance.

They were working Soi Buakow during high season. A brit warned me about them with a "watch your wallet". And many times, they'd jump on the bus and I would warn the others on the bus, to the point when they saw me they would jump off the bus. The girl carries a big purse she puts on her lap to cover her hand reaching across. The Ladyboy causes a disturbance so the girl can work on pickpocketing. Sometimes there were three of them and they would sit on both sides of the mark and then the Ladyboy would start acting up, flirting or being outrageous...they went after both men and women. One couple I made move over by me because they didn't understand English...they probably were intimidated by me but I saved their money and wallets.

 

I'm glad they got caught!

Well done Swiss man , To all the farangs, please watch your wallets and camera when you are on the bahtbus, my Mate from Leeds England got his wallet stolen by the girl two years ago and gave me a wake up call everytime i get on the bahtbus. Best solution is chain the wallets or put your wallets on your front pockets.
