Looking for Teeth Whitening in Pats

M_T

Recommended Posts

So I know there is information elsewhere on the board for this, I have seen it, but it is a bit sparse and over a year old. So, what I am looking for is this:

A reliable and safe dentists office in pattaya where I can get my teeth cleaned and laser whitened. I am looking for BM's experiences, and how much you paid for the procedure. I have seen prices listed as high as 12k, and as low as 6k. Moreover, I have also heard some horror stories about unscrupulous dentists doing no good and damaging teeth.

Anyhow, where should I go?

Thanks!

I know a clinik in Naklua that do laser whitening for 5000B i was there for 3 years ago ..may the prices have changed now? it worked well and no pain at all but after i realy got sensitve nerves and feel not well for 2 days ...also i will not do it again ...cleanig and polish will do it for me now !

But if you looking around in Patty you will see clinics that do whitenig with laser ...most they show of a comercial in front of the window or on the way ..

A mate and fellow board member got his teeth whitened about 2 months ago at a dentist in Soi Buakhow (just down from Pook bar on the opposite side next to the internet and 7-11 that sells noodles out the front) for 5,000 baht.

They came up really well. The dentist used the laser whitening system. You also have to pay an extra 500 baht to scale, polish and clean your teeth before they do the whitening so it's 5,500 baht all up. He was very happy with the result and might reply with more info if he sees this thread.

NOKSUKOU, you say you felt pain later, was there any lasting damage after the laser treatment as you say you wouldn't do it again ?

I only got some slight pain when I did it

Nothing a few drinks could not control

But the results were great

So your teeth didn't drop to bits or anything like that then. Been considering this for a while.

I had mine done a few weeks ago. Had a blast all over the place looking at costs - displayed in most dentists - and in general you should not consider paying more than 7.5k bht total for laser whitening.

Twinges the nerves a bit but wouldn't say its 'painful'.......

Whats the risks and why the pain? Is is better to fix your teeth (holes etc) before doing laser?

Your teeth become sensitive for a few days after the treatment.

When you do the laser whiting they use a stronger version of the solutions you find in the home kits. The good side is that the process only takes an hour, the bad side is that the sensitivity is worse because the stronger solution.

A good friend of mine has had it done twice. Paid 7,500 the first time and 5,000 last month. He highly recommended the place that did it for 5,000 said the femaie dentist was very careful and thorough in her job. It's located on Soi 8, Tepprasit, or more accurately Soi 17, off 3rd Road as this road runs between Tepprasit and 3rd Road. You turn left at the traffic lights just up from Tony's gym (there are 2 Soi 17's off 3rd, the second one near Pattaya Klang).

Thanks for the info guys, have wanted to have my teeth whitened for a long time! Almost did it several times when on cruises, most of the cruise lines offer teeth whitening, but at roughly $800 to $1000 USD! (Guess I’m a Cheap Charlie! ) Los’s price of $200 sounds like a deal!

Buzzard thanks for the link. I take it it’s done right at the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital?

Jaha, do you have (can you get) more info about the place your friend went to? Would like to look at it too, especially if it comes with an “experienced” recommendation like Buzzard’s did.

Thanks guys

It's like a fucking drug!

Qenter

I am going to Tony's gym today so I'll wonder up and see if I can give you the exact location and confirm the price they charge.
