Business is good and puang has been really busy and i said to her she may need to look for a 2nd location to rent out the bikes, so thru the day i tend to walk the soy's as when you drive around you tend to miss out places.

 

i came across this location on soi 8 next to 2 large hotels and 2 hotel just over the road so i guess it would be a good location to rent out the bikes.

 

so i took the photo and number i got puang to call them and here's the price:-

 

Key money 300'000 every year + monthly rent at 40'000

 

so this works out per month of 65'000 per month thats 8'125 per meter per month

 

this has to be the most expensive floor space in pattaya.

Agreed.  There are lots of properties in Pattaya, both residential and commercial, that are way over priced, but this one gets the prize for the most ridiculous price. This space is not worth more than 5k and no key money.  It is amazing that people believe properties in Pattaya could be as valuable as office or residential space in a major city in the U.S, Australia or Europe.

ok i guessed it would be around 5'000 baht per month and it would be ok to rent out scooters/motorbikes and its got hotels on all sides.

 

but 65'000 per month, they don't have a cat in hell's chance in renting the place out.

 

i see this happening all over pattaya now with high rent increases and units coming empty.

 

many of them just take the key money which is a load of Bull and don't care if they can't pay the rent as the property will be back on the market ready for some else to pay the key money and hand the keys back a few months later
