Virus removal

Please could anyone point me in the direction of a shop that will remove a virus which I foolishly allowed to infect my laptop. I have tried a number of software downloads but the machine is still in bad shape (frustratingly slow on downloads).

Sorry to say, it's Dowwnloader.zlob (& a variant). Must stop letting those Changs get me into bad viewing habits!

Try deleting the files that say "Unknown" or "No name"

 

Set up a system restore date before deleting them to be safe.

You should always turn off system restore when removing a virus as it can back up the virus in the system restore folders

Another method to remove Zlob is to manually delete Zlob files in your system. Detect and remove the following Zlob files:

Forgive me if I've not hit the right buttons here (bit of a forum novice) but thanks to all for the advice. I'm not quite sure what worked best and I have a long way to go to use up all the suggestions but I do have a machine that is now functioning semi acceptably. Cheers.
