Female Office Worker Shot Dead Outside Hard Rock Cafe

PATTAYA – January 13,2014 [PDN]; Pol.Lt.Col.Nattawat Seetong, detective officer of Muang Pattaya police station, was notified that there was a woman who had been shot dead on beach road in front of Hard Rock hotel, Central Pattaya, moo 9, Nongprue, Banglamoong, Chonburi. He went to the crime scene with detective officers.

At the crime scene they found the deceased a Miss Sorraya Chainin, 27 years old an office worker at NPE company. She was wearing her uniform. She had been shot in the head 3 times and the 3 .38 expelled bullet shells were found on the floor so the police took them as evidence.

A witness said that they heard somebody shout “DON’T” but they thought it was somebody playing around and then they heard 3 gun shots and noticed a woman lying on the floor with a man standing over her wearing a balaclava and a helmet. He then fled at speed on a Honda Click.

There was more witnesses who worked at the same company, he said that the girl was good looking, a lot of guys were after her, and she told him that lately she had been arguing with her boyfriend named Supachoke , because she chatted with many guys on Facebook, which made him jealous. Also her boyfriend took a picture of him with a knife to her neck and posted on Facebook.

The police believe that the cause of this incident was because the boyfriend was jealous. The police are now hunting the man to question him and prosecute him further according to Thai law.
