The crime scene was at the bottom of soi 5, where they found a Mrs.See Janja, 63 years old, waiting for the police with the baby. From asking, she said that B (alias for the baby) 6 months old took the boy out for a walk in his pushchair to his granpa’s house which is approximately 100 meters from her house. While she was carrying him into the house, suddenly there was a small man, around 160 cms tall, wearing a bandit cap who tried to pull the boy from her arms and the boy fell on the floor, she tried to pick him up again and cried for help which caused the man to flee into the woods at the bottom of the lane and disappeared.

The police with the head of the village and the sub district brought civil volunteer forces to find the man but he had disappeared. Some locals expected that he had fled, because there was a motorbike waiting for him in the next soi.
Mrs.See said that the parents of the boy went out to work and she looked after him, and she thought that the man must be a kidnapper, and she wanted the police to find the man to prosecute him, and wanted to warn other people to be aware and to be more vigilant.
