Learn Russian before going to Pattaya

Wow, I think all of eastern bloc europe was in Pattaya for the New Year Celebration.... lol

 

I had a good time but the sheer volume of Russian speaking tourists was overwhelming. I also had a good time laughing at the Chinese tour groups snapping pics while walking down "seedy" sois.

I was having too much of a good time to notice. I did notice that later in the night there were few girls in the gogo bars so others must of being having a good time too...

We are studying Russian language at school had mandatory unfortunately. Now it is a quite useful.

Guess I am lucky - studied it 4 years in High School and majored in it in college... But that was long ago and I forget most of what I had before (as the old advertisements used to say, but with a twist => the mind is a terrible thing to get wasted!)... However, I find that it comes back to me if I am around Russian people... Got a real nice Android app - Russian to English translation - and it gives me a word of the day - and it pronounces the word and also a sentence using the word... Trying to boneUP some so that when I get to Pattaya I will be able to chat with Russian people if it comes up...
