Pattaya Teenagers Attacked Rivals With Knives And Bricks

CCTV footage recorded an incident where over 10 Pattaya teenagers used knives, pieces of wood and bricks to attack their rivals outside a herbal liquor shop which left 2 victims severely injured.

CHONBURI – January 6, 2014 [PDN]; at 3.30 a.m. the rescue radio center of Sawang Boriboon foundation, Pattaya city, was notified that there was an incident where teenagers were quarreling in Soi Wat Tharmsamakkhee soi 1 and 2 victims had been severely injured so they rushed to the scene.

At the incident in front of the herbal liquor shop, the officers found 2 males who were injured and had been hacked several times about their bodies. The 2 injured victims were identified as Mr. A (alias), aged 15 and Mr. B (alias), aged 15 so the rescuers performed first aid on them then sent them to have the treatment at Banglamung hospital.

The officers inspected the CCTV footage at the incident point and found that the group containing the victims were sitting in front of the liquor shop and the group of rivals (the trouble makers) rode up on their motorbikes totalling more than 10 who attacked the group of victims until they ran away in different directions but Mr. Manas and Mr. Thas could not escape so they were assaulted with knives, pieces of wood and bricks and was beaten unconscious. The group of trouble makers then fled the scene . From investigating the friends of the 2 injured victims they said that the group of rivals are teenagers from Soi Wat Tharmsamakkhee and they knew each other. 2-3 days ago their senior friends went and smashed the motorbikes of the group of trouble makers severely damaging them..

The police will take the CCTV footage to coordinate with the detective police team to follow up to arrest the group of trouble makers and prosecute them according to the Thai law.
