where is the police impound yard?

Featured Replies

hi guys where's  the  South Pattaya  motorcycle impound?   HELP!!

On 2nd Road, right across from Soi 9.

You have to contact the police on Beach Road, Soi 9, to get your vehicle back.

up to you

Go into Soi 9 police station tell them at the desk that you think your bike has been taken by the police as you parked it were you should not have ( be nice and humble ) even if it was not your fault, angry will get you a long time sitting there and may be them denying  they have it so BE NICE.

You will need to tell them the Reg number if you don't know this then it gets more difficult (you need to go to the pound and look for it then go back to the station and tell them the number).

At the station pay the fine ( its listed on the wall on the left of the glass payment desk) It was two years ago so may have changed. It used to be 500tb.

you get a receipt go outside and ask the MB taxi what the cost is (they are well used to this trip) and if you don't ask then you will be charged a premium amount. it used to be 150tb.

Give the receipt to the guy in the pound/field and he will let you take your bike.

Best of luck.

You can easily see if the bike is in the impound lot, there's no high walls or anything, just barbed wire fence.

150 Baht to go from Beach Road to 2nd road? Couldn't you just walk it?

Yes,however most visitors cant find the way back to the accom from two Soi,s away. Also there are more than one compound and it may have been sent to a different one ( it will be listed on the payment slip) and therefore the MBT will know were to take you when you show him it and ask to go there. Personally I would be very happy to pay 500tb and 150tb and that the police had taken it and it has not been stolen, if it was stolen then  you will  have to pay the rental company 50,000tb to 80,000tb in compensation.
