Hi everyone,

 

I am thinking of spending 3 or 4 nights at the Dusit Thani. However I have no experience with hotel or area of Bangkok.

 

What is this hotel like?

 

What is the area like, plenty of bars, nice restaurants, etc etc

 

Any help would be much appreciated

I've stayed at the Dusit thani a couple of times. Its a very nice but not cheap 5 star hotel.

 

Its about a 2 minute walk along the road to Patpong.

Stayed there for my honeymoon, fantastic hotel, however unless money is no object you can do just as well but for far less

A Bangkok landmark for more than a quarter of a century, The Dusit Thani is firmly established as a leading city hotel, distinguished by the charm of its traditional Thai hospitality and the excellence of its modern facilities.

the dusit is not a mongers place to stay, more for familys or GF/BF combination. if your a monger then expect to pay a joiner-fee.

The hotel is mighty fine but not your best for playing and paying.

 

If its top of the range hotels you want then for class and location where the hobbie is all around you and the sky train is down the road and you can be any where is no time then its the JW Marriot.......................

 

5 star with great Resturants & its very near to Nana Plaza & soi Cowboy.

 

It is on Suckhumvit Road which is crawling with shops and girls along with bars that will have you fucked and plucked.

 

JW Marriot is top draw and Asia rooms com have some of the best discounted prices.................

 

If you want some one to show you around the town and teach you the script please consider me as your tour guide...........??????
