Over 10,000 Thai and foreign tourists visited Pattaya for the 2014 Countdown festival. The festival was very popular even though the weather was cool.

PATTAYA – January 1, 2014 [PDN]; the journalists reported about the atmosphere of the New Year’s Eve at Pattaya city which was broadcasted on Channel 9 since December 31, 2013’s .This year was more vivacious than last year due to there being a lot of Thai and foreign tourists midst of the cold weather.

During the countdown to the New Year 2014 at Balihai cape, south Pattaya which was the venue of Pattaya Countdown 2014 concert where lots of famous and popular stars and singers entertained the audiences since December 25, 2013. On new year’s eve close to midnight a spectacular firework display was set off over the bay of Pattaya delighting thousands of tourists as they welcomed the new year.
