Welcome Party For Wind Surfing Medallists

Pattaya held a welcome party for the return of the wind surfing team. The medal total was 2 gold’s and 1 silver in the recent 27th SEA Games in Myanmar.

PATTAYA – December 27, 2013 [PDN]; at 19:00 at the water activities yard, in front of Surf Kitchen , Jomthian, Muang Pattya, Mr.Ittipol Khunpluem, the President of wind surf association of Thailand was present at the welcome party. The national team had won 2 golds and a silver medal at the 27th SEA Games in Myanmar, Nguaisuang, Myanmar, between 30 November -22 December, .

The winning medallists were a Mr. Natthapong Photinrat, who won a gold in the general RS1 category, Ms.Duangkamol Phongern , won a gold in the youth female RS1, and Mr.Thanatip Sueb-ukol, won a silver medal for youth male RS1 category.

There was a musical concert for the athletes, coaches and managers. Lots of people attended the party, city council members, representatives of various communities. There was a warm atmosphere and the party was a great success.
