I doubt weather All of the deceased personal effects of value such as money, etc got handed over eventually to their relatives or friends.

Somewhere along the chain from the crash site to and including the police station authorities,Items of value will have 'Dissapeared' into someone's pocket/s.

This practice of thai style re-cycling sadly seems to be the norm,Especially if the deceased is a foreigner.

I can add only this.

It is the Vile,Obscene and Disgusting actions of Inhuman Vultures.

That is exactly what happened to my brother's effects after his fatal accident on the main Highway just south of HH in March 2010.

Some BM's might even have known him as he lived in thailand for over 25 years and had many friends in Koh Samui,Phucket and Pattaya.

Vehicle accident fatalities happen everywhere and in thailand,More so. I can understand and expect that it can happen to anyone but the disrespectful practice of robbing the dead is something i cannot or will ever accept as 'Normal'- Anywhere.

'Big Joe' (1949-2010) RIP.
