Thieves Rob Grocery Store Owner At Gun Point

A 3 man gang robbed a grocery store owner at gun point after following him and knocking him off his motorbike with a pick-up truck. They then blindfolded stole his property and forced him to reveal his pin codes for the ATM cards.

pdn3PATTAYA – December 26,2013 [PDN]; at 14.30, a was informed by a Mr.Pitat Thannakittiwat, 35 years old, living at the house number 6/12, Nonbprue, Banglamoong, Chonburi, the owner of the second handed grocery store, in soi Chaiyapruek, Jomthian, Pattaya, was robbed and taken on a pick-up truck, then property swept outrageously.

The journalist went to soi Sukhumwit 54, Jularat, South Pattaya, moo 12, Nongprue, Banglamoong. A man told the police that, at 22.00pm on December 25, after he had closed his shop and was riding home along soi Kor pai, using it as a shortcut there was a golden bronze Toyota pick-up truck which knocked him off his and he fell to the ground. Then 2 men got out of the pick-up one was fat and overweight and the other one was thin both around 25-30 years old. They pointed a gun at him and asked if he had any drugs and beat him. They then put him in the pick-up truck blindfolded him and robbed him of his 1 baht gold ring, 8 baht gold necklace, a Seiko watch worth 10,000 baht, an iphone 4, a silver necklace worth 8,000 baht , 2 ATM cards and 10,000 baht in cash. They then carried on beating him until he told them the pin codes for the ATM cards. They then went to an ATM machine and with drew 57,000 baht but he didn’t know which machine they used because he was blindfolded. Soon after he was dropped off and signalled for help from local people and then notified Pol.Lt.Col.Tailert Luepue, detective of Muang Pattaya police station, sub branch, Dongtal.

He then said that what they did was outrageous, and they weren’t afraid of law and he didn’t want this to happen to anyone else. So he wanted the public to know, if any good person knew the ID of these people please tell the police. He would be grateful.
