A jealous wife found out that her husband had a mistress who he was working with so she put poison into a coffee bag in order to kill him, but she ended up killing the mistress’s friend instead and severely injuring the mistress.

CHONBURI – December 25, 2013 [PDN]; Chonburi police detained Mrs. Pranee Jampathong, aged 42, from Surin to perform a planned re-enactment in the allegation of killing and trying to kill other people with pre-discretion by mixing toxins into food and beverages at the dormitory Moo 7 Tambon Don Hua Lor, Amphur Mueang Chonburi.

On November 17, 2013 Mrs. Pranee had tried to poison her husband by putting poison into an instant coffee bag but killed Ms. Wilaiporn, aged 33 (not revealed her surname) instead (she was a friend of the mistress of Mrs. Pranee’s husband) and harmed Ms. Sakhornrat, aged 33 (not revealed her surname), who was a mistress of Mrs. Pranee’s husband.

From investigating Mrs. Pranee she confessed that she had put poison into a coffee bag and intended to kill Mr. Prasit Jampathong (her husband) who works as a security guard at IHI Turbo Co., Ltd. She found out that he was having a love affair with Ms. Sakhornrat who works as a female security guard at the same company. When she found out about it she quarreled with her husband and she was beaten up by him which made her very angry, so in revenge she put poison into a coffee bag which he used but Ms. Sakhornrat drank the poisoned coffee with her friend which caused Ms. Sakhornrat to fall very ill and her friend (Ms. Wilaiporn) was poisoned to death.
