Broken Hearted Businessman Commits Suicide

A businessman who is the owner of a cleaning Liquid company committed suicide by using a rubber pipe that he connected to the exhaust and directed the fumes into the car killing him.

BANGKOK – December 22,2013 [PDN]; at 9.45 a.m. Pol. Lt. Witthawat Sakharin (police on duty of Phaholyothin police station) was notified from the rescuers of Ruamkatanyu foundation that there was a body of a Thai man found dead in his car in Soi Phaholyothin 35 so the police rushed to inspect scene. At the scene they found a black Mazda car, license number DOR FOR 6022 Bangkok, was parked with the engine still runnin in front of General Clean Co., Ltd. address 128 Soi Phaholyothin 35, Lad Yao sub-district, Jatujak district, Bangkok. The car had a pipe coming from the exhaust which was going into the car through the window. The gaps around the pipe were sealed with cloth to stop any air getting in.

In the driver’s seat the officers found the corpse of Mr. Phiphat Jeenawanich, aged 33, who is the owner of the cleansing Liquid company. He was wearing a white short sleeves T-shirt and polka dot shorts. He was dead from lacking of air to breathe there was no signs of foul play.

From initially investigated the police perceived that he had made an appointment to to deliver cleansing Liquid at 8 am in Pattaya Chonburi province. But when his work colleague went to find his boss, he couldn’t find Mr. Phiphat (the deceased) he then found him sat in his car so he hurried to notify the officers. The deceased’s relatives confirmed that Mr. Phiphat didn’t have any family problems or conflicts with the relatives and also didn’t have any liability issues. Initially, the police assumed that the cause of his death might be over a love affair that made him decide to commit suicide.

Is it just me or does anyone else think it odd that everyone just assumed he was already dead and left the pipe there and left the engine running?  How hard could it have been to remove the pipe at least in the off chance that he might still be alive?
